| About Us: management team |
In conjunction with his then wife, Lucinda, he set up hair extension studio, Attention X (known as Lucinda Ellery Hair Solutions from 2002) in 1989. Originally dedicated to traditional hair extensions, it soon became apparent that a service for women with specific hair challenges was needed. Spurred on by the obvious anguish experienced by women losing their hair, Mark developed several techniques to effectively disguise these problems. Using a combination of traditional skills and a proprietary non-surgical method labelled, The Kinsey System the business attracted a whole new client-base, drawn from the estimated 8 million UK women who suffer from some form of hair loss. And, in an unprecedented move, the NHS confirmed the systems effectiveness by providing funding for particularly needy clients whom otherwise couldnt afford it. Marks work - for both fashion and medical purposes - has also attracted many celebrity clients including Eastenders actress, Barbara Windsor, who, in her recent autobiography, publicly thanked him for his help with her hair problems. Both Mark and his team's work has been highlighted by several television programmes including ITVs, This Morning with Richard and Judy and Channel 5s, At Home With Gloria Hunniford as well as inspiring full page features in over 30 newspapers and magazines including The Daily Mail, The Sun and Eva.

Mark's divorce signalled the end of his active involvement in the company he previously co-founded with his wife and he approached Glenn in 2001 for help in setting up a new venture - and Mark Glenn was born. Away from his contribution to Mark Glenn, Glenn is widely acknowledged as the UKs most successful presentation and spoken communication skills coach. A large proportion of the presenters and media stars on your television screens first unleashed their talents through Glenns training. In fact, with over 300 previously inexperienced presenters alone ending up on-screen after his coaching, hes recognised for training more television presenters than anyone else in the world. And his pedigree client list reads like a Whos Who of the countrys top corporate, public, media and celebrity communicators - from FTSE 100 executives to pop star, Geri Halliwell; leading political figures to Olympic Gold Medallist, Sally Gunnell. His work has been the subject of two BBC documentaries as well as inspiring features throughout the national press and media, attracting labels from, the image doctor to, the confidence guru. Hes also authored three top-selling books - two specially commissioned by Marks and Spencer and sold worldwide; and one for BBC Books, published both in the UK and America and written when he was just 19 years old. You can learn more about Glenn and his company, Pozitiv Productions, here. |

Originally trained at London's famous Toni & Guy Academy, she gained further experience in a succession of top London hairdressers, including Hair Associates, Visage and Toni & Guy. And, in an attempt to understand all areas of her craft, she also spent time designing, cutting and creating hairpieces and wigs. She worked alongside Mark Sharp at Attention X for 4 years, becoming one of their busiest and most popular hair extension designers, before joining Mark Glenn in 2001.
