Good Sex and Bad Hair
A glimpse inside the mind of the average woman suggests she could be
longing for an affair with her hairdresser...
According to an American survey, the two subjects which obsess the female
of the species are good sex and bad hair.
While they typically spend 48 minutes a day thinking about sex, their
hair is only five minutes behind.
Proving just how much the perfect coiffeur means to them, 20 per cent
would give up great sex or even personal wealth if they could always
have perfect hair.
Just over 40 per cent said they wanted to have someone else's hair.
The three most admired styles were those of Julia Roberts, Jennifer
Aniston and Deborah Messing, who appeared in the film "A Walk In
The Clouds" with Keanu Reeves.
Rather alarmingly, the poll - involving thousands of women from all
over the U.S. - found that 65 per cent of them fix their hair using
the rearview mirror while driving.
A large majority of those polled - 76 per cent - believe the way their
hair looks determines whether they are taken seriously and if they are
well regarded by colleagues and bosses.
